Ashley & Mike’s Wedding….

We were really excited to do Ashley & Mike’s wedding! James said he had a great time doing their engagement session and I really enjoyed talking with Ashley on the phone and at the studio so once I met Mike I definitely knew that the wedding was going to be filled with happiness, love and laughter. Their wedding ceremony was held in Sunbury, Oh and their reception was held at Tartan East Golf Course in New Albany, Oh. Everyone was having a blast especially with our photobooth! They used the props that we had plus they made their own lol. Thank you both for having us capture your special day, even though at times it looked like it was going to pour down rain it held off enough for you both to get some great shots outside. We wish you both much happiness in the many years to come. =) Enjoy……

Newborn twins….

Such tiny little fingers and cute button noses, these tiny babies had us on our toes. This by far was one of our must challenging sessions but was so worth it. It was so funny when baby J # 1 was sleeping baby J # 2 was awake. Then Baby J # 1 would cry while Baby J #2 would sleep….we did manage to get some really great shots and were really happy with the outcome=) We look forward tothe next sessions in the future with the twins and of course with their big sister. Enjoy….

Contest is back on!

Geesh it has been a crazy week! Our facebook was deactivated on Sunday and was back up and running on Tuesday. We have never had so many calls and emails that morning on what was going on. Luckily one of our clients had connections and looked into it for us and got us back on the map lol. The contest is doing really well and to our surprise we had almost 50 entries. After the first day we had over 500 votes casted. It has been really fun so far and has helped us prepare more on our next contest for our toddlers. Thanks everyone who entered and good luck to all of you=)

Kerry & Joe’s Wedding….

Kerry and Joe were married Nov 14 at St. John Newman’s Catholic Church in Sunbury, Oh and their reception was held at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Columbus,Oh. I shot this wedding with a co-photographer friend Brittany while James was doing another wedding in Springfield with Nicole. The weather was perfect– we couldn’t ask for a better day especially for the middle of November. We stopped at Inniswood park on the way to the reception….our photos were limited due to park rules I didn’t know that we were not aloud to go around and take photos all over the park, this is one of our favorite places to take pictures and we are always doing engagement, family and senior sessions there and never had any problems but for some reason weddings are not aloud to go all around the park for photos….so Brittany and I got yelled at lol I felt like a kid again getting in trouble for a honest mistake of not knowing the rules . Note to couples ” No wedding photos around the park”….Kerry & Joe thought it was funny so the joke for the day was no pictures in the park lol….the day was still filled with with a lot of laughs and the reception was one big party! Congrats to the both of you=)

Jennifer & Steve’s Wedding

Jenn & Steve were married on July 18. Their ceremony was at the Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marysville, Oh and their reception was in Columbus, Oh at St. Charles. The day was full of fun and we were able to stop at a few locations before we made our final stop at St. Charles. The lovely couple had some great locations to shoot at and some awesome ideas for pics. Thank you both for having us! Everyone was so nice and inviting to the both of us. We wish the both of you all the best in the years to come=)

In memory of and Thank you…..

So, last Saturday at 230am we received a call from the hospital that James’s grandfather had passed it didn’t seem real, until we arrived at the hospital. I was a lost of words….I didn’t know what to say to James– his grandfather was basically his father, he had raised James since he was just a few months old, so to James and everyone else– Norman was James’s father. Grandpa was a hard working man and touched so many people around him. I myself had actually met James’s grandpa before I even new James. He was a custodian for Newark City Schools and actually worked at the school I went to in elementary. I remembered all the kids liked Mr. Walters we always wanted to be his helper at school. Never did I know at that time I was going to marry his grandson in the future. So, that morning we heard the news about grandpa had a wedding later that day and another wedding that sunday and in the mix of everything we were now planning a funeral. We set the funeral to be done on Wed. which was a lot sooner than we wanted but with all of the families schedules this worked out best for everyone. It was a beautiful service and very emotional for everyone, but grandpa was finally laid to rest that afternoon. We will miss you so much, thank you for being a shoulder to lean on when we needed one and making us laugh when we needed to laugh and we will miss that smile you gave us to let us know that everything was going to be all right. We know that one day we will join you and that you are now spoiling our baby boy Isaac.

With that being said we want to Thank everyone for all the emails,cards and flower arrangements sent to us on behalf of our grandfather passing, it really means a lot to us to know how much people care about us and our family. This past week has been rough for us and to know that so many people care means so much to us, our son Isaiah went over to our studio and picked up the mail for us last week and brought back several cards, its kind of funny because he said “geesh there must be a lot of bills this week” …… which is what we always say when there is a lot of mail….but when he handed me the mail they were actually cards from clients and friends of ours sending their condolences. Wow, we were really shocked and emotional all at the same time…..so from our family to yours thank you from the bottom of our hearts we are grateful knowing that so many people care. Again, Thank You everyone for baring with us this past week. This week we will be working hard to catch up on all the calls, emails and sessions.

Tiffany & Joe’s Wedding…

Tiffany & Joe were married a few weeks ago at Brookshire in Powell, Oh. Their ceremony and reception were all at the same location. The weather was beautiful that day, even though there were a few times that we thought it was going to storm –but it ended up blowing over! They had a pretty large bridal party and they were a lot of fun….I loved their wedding colors, and their flowers were gorgeous.
